1 Channel 5V Relay Board Module – Optocoupler Isolation, High/Low Level Trigger, 250V 10A
VAT inclusive; Computed calculations added locally.
Overview
The 1 Channel 5V Relay Board Module provides a convenient interface between microcontroller projects and electrically switched loads. Its optocoupler-based input stage helps separate the control signal from the relay-driving circuit, making it suitable for Arduino, MCU, automation, robotics, and DIY control applications.
The onboard jumper allows the trigger mode to be configured for High-Level or Low-Level operation, giving greater flexibility when integrating the module with different controller boards and firmware logic. A green power indicator and red relay-status indicator provide quick visual feedback during operation.
The relay provides NO (Normally Open), COM (Common), and NC (Normally Closed) contacts through the screw terminal block. The stated contact rating is up to 250V AC at 10A or 30V DC at 10A, although actual safe switching capability depends on load type, wiring, installation, and relay contact conditions.
Note: Relay, PCB layout, component appearance, and product markings may differ from the product images depending on available stock.

Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The 1 Channel 5V Relay Board Module is designed to let a low-voltage controller operate one electrically isolated relay channel. It can be used with common microcontroller platforms and provides a straightforward three-wire control interface along with screw terminals for the switched circuit.
The module includes an optocoupler isolation stage, selectable trigger logic, and LED indicators for power and relay status. The relay contacts are exposed as NO, COM, and NC, allowing the load circuit to be configured for either normally-open or normally-closed operation.
Features
- 1-channel 5V electromechanical relay module.
- Optocoupler-isolated control interface.
- Selectable High-Level or Low-Level trigger using onboard jumper.
- Up to 250V AC / 10A or 30V DC / 10A contact rating.
- NO, COM, and NC relay output terminals.
- Green power LED and red relay-status LED.
- Screw terminal connection for the switched load.
- Suitable for Arduino, MCU, robotics, automation, and DIY electronics projects.
- Compact 43 × 26.3 × 17mm module based on the supplied specification.
Applications
- Arduino and microcontroller-controlled appliances.
- Smart home and automation projects.
- AC lamp and fan switching.
- DC load switching.
- Robotics and actuator control.
- Pump and solenoid control.
- Timed switching and remote-control projects.
- Educational electronics and prototyping.
How to Use
- Connect 5V DC to the module VCC and GND terminals.
- Connect the controller's digital output to the IN control terminal.
- Select HIGH or LOW trigger operation using the onboard jumper.
- Connect the load circuit to COM and either NO or NC, depending on the desired default state.
- Test the relay operation with the load disconnected before applying mains voltage.
- Confirm the relay state using the onboard status LED.
- For inductive loads such as motors, pumps, fans, or solenoids, use appropriate suppression and protection components suitable for the load.
Important Notes
- High-voltage AC wiring can be dangerous. Disconnect mains power before making or changing connections.
- The 250V/10A and 30V/10A figures are maximum contact ratings, not a guarantee that every load can safely be switched at 10A.
- Inductive loads can produce substantially higher switching transients than resistive loads and may require suitable snubber, flyback, or surge-suppression measures.
- Do not exceed the relay's voltage or current ratings.
- Maintain appropriate insulation, wire gauge, terminal tightening, and clearance when working with mains voltage.
- Do not expose the open PCB to moisture or conductive contamination.
- Confirm the trigger jumper position before connecting the controller.
- The relay and PCB appearance may vary according to available stock.
- Allow approximately 5% measurement deviation for physical dimensions and related manual measurements.
- The module should not be treated as a certified mains-safety device or as a replacement for professional electrical installation.
Package Includes
- 1 × 1 Channel 5V Relay Board Module
