100A Non-Invasive AC Current Transformer Clamp Sensor with 3.5mm Jack

The 100A Non-Invasive AC Current Transformer Clamp Sensor provides a convenient way to measure AC current without placing the sensor directly in series with the load. The clamp is positioned around a suitable current-carrying conductor, allowing the magnetic field generated by the current to induce a small AC voltage at the sensor output.

The output signal is proportional to the current passing through the conductor and can be processed by an appropriate measurement circuit, ADC interface, microcontroller, or energy-monitoring system. This makes the sensor useful for developing custom electricity monitoring and AC load measurement solutions.

The attached cable features a standard 3.5mm jack for convenient connection. The sensor can be incorporated into projects such as household energy monitors, equipment load monitors, AC current alarms, and over-current detection systems.

Important: This is an AC current transformer sensor. It should be used with an appropriate burden/load and signal-conditioning circuit according to the sensor's electrical specifications. Do not connect the sensor output directly to a circuit without confirming the required interface and load conditions. Work around mains-voltage wiring should only be performed using appropriate electrical safety procedures by a qualified person.
