AM312 Mini PIR Motion Sensor Module for Motion Detection

The AM312 Mini PIR Motion Sensor is designed for detecting human or object movement in compact electronic systems. Its miniature PCB size and low power consumption make it particularly useful when a motion sensing function needs to be added without taking up much space.

How It Works

The AM312 uses passive infrared (PIR) sensing to detect changes in infrared radiation caused by moving objects, particularly people. When movement occurs within the sensor's detection area, the module generates a corresponding digital signal.

A microcontroller can read this signal and perform an action such as switching on a light, activating an alarm, controlling a motor, or starting another electronic process.

The sensor's compact size allows it to be installed in small enclosures and portable electronic devices where a conventional larger PIR module may not be suitable.
