Deans-Style T Connector

Soldering & Safety Tips

• Disconnect all batteries and power sources before soldering.
• Slide the required heat-shrink tubing onto the wire before soldering.
• Pre-tin both the wire and connector contact for a cleaner solder joint.
• Avoid keeping the soldering iron on the connector terminal for too long, as excessive heat may deform the nylon housing.
• Fully insulate completed solder joints with suitable heat-shrink tubing.
• Always verify polarity before connecting the battery.
• Avoid shorting exposed battery wires, especially with high-current LiPo batteries.
