Product Description
The GY-BME280-3.3 BME280 Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Module is a digital environmental sensor breakout based on the Bosch BME280. It combines three sensing functions in one device, allowing a microcontroller to collect temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure measurements.
The module is designed for 3.3V operation and provides convenient access to the sensor through an onboard header. It includes I2C pull-up resistors, power-supply decoupling capacitors, and solder links for configuring the I2C address and power arrangement.
The BME280's pressure measurement can also be used to estimate relative altitude when appropriately calibrated, making the module useful for drones, weather stations, navigation experiments, and other projects where environmental and elevation changes need to be monitored.

Power Configuration Note
The module's default configuration connects VDD and VDD_IO through solder link GS1. If separate power rails are used, such as VDD_IO at 1.8V and VDD at 3.3V, the GS1 power link should be removed as appropriate for the board design.
The exact capabilities and pin arrangement can vary between BME280 breakout-board versions. Check the PCB markings before connecting power or configuring the solder links.
