ISDT P20 1~8S 500W X 2 20A Balance Charger

The ISDT P20 1–8S 500W × 2 20A Balance Charger is a high-power, dual-channel smart charger designed for users who regularly charge different types of rechargeable batteries. It is suitable for FPV drone batteries, RC car and aircraft batteries, and other compatible hobby battery packs.

With two independent charging channels, the P20 can charge two batteries simultaneously using configured settings separately. Each channel supports charging currents from 0.2A to 20A and a maximum charging power of 500W. When the channels operate in synchronous parallel mode, the charger supports up to 800W and 35A combined charging output under supported conditions.

The charger supports several battery chemistries, including LiPo, Li-ion, LiFe, LiHV, lead-acid, NiMH, and NiCd. Its 3.5-inch IPS colour display presents charging information such as voltage, current, elapsed time, battery type, and capacity. The interface allows users to configure charging tasks and monitor progress.

How to Use

1. Connect the charger to a suitable 10–34V DC power source capable of supplying the required voltage, current, and wattage.

2. Connect the battery to the appropriate output channel using compatible charging leads and connectors.

3. For lithium battery packs, connect the balance lead when performing balance charging.

4. Select the correct battery chemistry, cell count, charging mode, and current.

5. Verify all settings against the battery manufacturer's specifications before starting the task.

6. Monitor the charging process on the display and disconnect the battery when the task is complete.

Important Notes

• This is a DC-powered charger, not a direct AC mains charger. A suitable external DC power supply is required and may not be included.

• The 500W × 2 specification does not mean the charger always delivers 1,000W. Actual power depends on the input supply and supported operating mode; synchronous parallel charging is rated up to 800W.

• The maximum charging current is 20A per channel, but the appropriate current must be selected according to the battery manufacturer's limits.

• LiPo, Li-ion, LiFe, and LiHV batteries require the correct chemistry and cell-count settings. Their charging voltages are not interchangeable.

• The P20 supports LiHV from 1S to 7S, while LiPo, Li-ion, and LiFe are supported from 1S to 8S.

• Use a well-ventilated, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface and keep the charger away from moisture, combustible materials, and excessive heat.

• Never leave batteries unattended while charging. Stop operation if the battery or charger shows abnormal heating, swelling, damage, or unusual behaviour.
