Overview
Build compact, connected, and intelligent projects with the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. Its Broadcom BCM2710A1-based quad-core processor delivers significantly more processing capability than the original Raspberry Pi Zero W while retaining the same compact board footprint.
Integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 with BLE enable wireless connectivity for IoT devices, sensor networks, remote monitoring, and home automation systems. The board can run compatible Linux distributions from a microSD card, providing access to programming tools, system utilities, networking software, and a wide range of development libraries.
The Mini HDMI output supports connecting a compatible display, while the USB OTG port allows supported USB peripherals to be attached using an appropriate adapter. The camera connector supports compatible Raspberry Pi camera modules, and the GPIO interface enables interaction with sensors, LEDs, relays, and other electronics when correctly wired.
Its compact size makes the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W suitable for space-constrained embedded systems, portable controllers, digital signage, lightweight Linux applications, and edge computing prototypes. A microSD card, compatible power supply, and any required adapters or headers should be purchased separately unless explicitly included in the package.

Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a small yet capable single-board computer designed for projects that need Linux computing, wireless connectivity, and a compact physical footprint. It combines a quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, built-in wireless networking, and several hardware interfaces on a board measuring just 65 × 30mm.
Unlike a conventional microcontroller board, it can run a full operating system from a microSD card. This makes it suitable for applications involving Python scripts, network services, data collection, web-based control panels, and lightweight automation software. The actual performance of an application depends on its software requirements and available memory.
Its built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth reduce the need for separate wireless modules. Developers can connect it to a local network, communicate with compatible Bluetooth peripherals, collect sensor readings, or exchange data with remote services.
The GPIO footprint supports hardware projects involving compatible sensors, LEDs, relays, and expansion boards. The standard Zero 2 W version is supplied without a pre-soldered GPIO header, so soldering or a suitable compatible header solution may be necessary.
The Mini HDMI output supports display connectivity, while the CSI-2 connector allows compatible camera modules to be used with the appropriate cable or adapter. With its small footprint and broad development ecosystem, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a practical platform for embedded Linux, IoT, robotics, and portable computing projects.

How to Use / Use Guide
Prepare a microSD card: Use a compatible card and install Raspberry Pi OS or another suitable operating system with the Raspberry Pi Imager.
Insert the card: Place the prepared microSD card into the board's card slot.
Connect power: Use a suitable regulated 5V Micro USB power supply. A 5V, 2.5A supply is the manufacturer's recommended specification.
Choose a setup method: Connect a Mini HDMI display and suitable USB peripherals, or configure the operating system for headless use over Wi-Fi.
Configure networking: Set up Wi-Fi and any required remote access or Bluetooth connections.
Connect hardware: Use the GPIO footprint for compatible sensors and modules, checking pin assignments and electrical requirements before wiring.
Develop your application: Write and run scripts, install compatible software, or configure the board for your chosen IoT, automation, or computing project.
Recommended Accessories
5V, 2.5A Micro USB power adapter.
Compatible microSD card.
Mini HDMI-to-HDMI cable or adapter.
Micro USB OTG adapter.
Compatible USB keyboard and mouse, or a suitable USB hub.
Raspberry Pi Zero-compatible case.
Compatible CSI camera cable or adapter and camera module.
40-pin GPIO header if the board is supplied without one.
Compatible GPIO sensors, expansion modules, and jumper wires.
Optional USB Ethernet adapter for wired networking.
Important Notes
MicroSD card and accessories: These are not included in the product specification unless explicitly stated in the package contents.
GPIO header: The standard Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W has an unpopulated 40-pin header footprint. Check the product variant before ordering.
GPIO voltage: GPIO signals use 3.3V logic. Do not connect 5V logic signals directly to GPIO pins.
Power supply: Use a stable 5V supply with adequate current capacity. Power needs vary according to connected USB devices, cameras, and other peripherals.
USB connections: The board has separate Micro USB power and OTG ports. Use the correct port for each function.
Camera compatibility: A suitable CSI cable or adapter may be needed; confirm the camera connector and cable compatibility before purchase.
Operating system compatibility: Not every Linux distribution or application is supported equally. Check current image availability and hardware requirements.
Performance limitations: The 512MB RAM is best suited to lightweight applications. Resource-intensive desktop software and multitasking may be limited.
Wireless networking: The board supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Video specifications: Hardware video encode/decode capabilities do not mean every codec or streaming application will perform equally well.
Temperature: The manufacturer's specified operating range is -20°C to +70°C. Enclosure design, ventilation, workload, and ambient conditions affect actual operating temperatures.
