400A AC Clamp Meter

The UNI-T UT201+ is a digital clamp meter designed primarily for convenient AC current measurement. Its clamp mechanism allows the user to measure current by placing the jaw around an individual conductor, helping avoid the need to disconnect the circuit during suitable current measurements.

The maximum AC current measurement range is 400A.

AC/DC Voltage Measurement

The UT201+ also functions as a conventional digital multimeter for measuring AC and DC voltage up to 600V, making it useful for checking batteries, power supplies, wiring, electrical circuits, and other suitable sources.

Resistance Measurement

The meter provides resistance measurement up to approximately 40MΩ, allowing users to test resistors, wiring, components, and electrical connections.

Frequency Measurement

Frequency measurement is available for suitable electrical signals, with measurement capability extending up to approximately 10MHz depending on the selected function and measurement conditions.

Diode and Continuity Testing

Built-in diode testing helps check suitable semiconductor components, while the continuity function can be used to identify electrical connections and open circuits.

Non-Invasive Current Measurement

One of the main advantages of a clamp meter is the ability to measure current without inserting the meter directly in series with the load.

For AC current measurement, the conductor is placed inside the clamp jaw and the meter detects the current flowing through it.

Important: For correct current measurement, the clamp should normally surround one conductor only. Clamping around both the live and return conductors together can cause the magnetic fields to largely cancel and result in an incorrect reading.
