The 12V 20W LED Lamp Plate is a direct-DC LED lighting module intended for custom lighting projects. Unlike conventional LED COBs that may require a separate constant-current driver, this product is specified for direct connection to a 12V DC supply, making it convenient for DIY lamp and lighting assemblies.

At 20W, the lamp plate draws substantial current from a 12V source—roughly 1.67A at 20W under nominal conditions—so the power supply, wiring, connectors, and thermal arrangement should be selected accordingly.

The LED plate can be mounted inside a suitable housing, floodlight body, spotlight enclosure, work lamp, emergency light, or other DIY lighting project. For sustained operation, provide an appropriate metal mounting surface or heatsink if required to remove LED heat.

How to Use

1. Use a suitable 12V DC power source capable of supplying the required current.
2. Connect the positive terminal of the LED plate to +12V DC.
3. Connect the negative terminal to GND/negative.
4. Confirm the polarity before powering the lamp.
5. Mount the LED plate securely to an appropriate heat-dissipating surface for extended operation.
6. Do not connect the plate directly to AC mains voltage.

Important Notes

• This LED plate is specified for 12V DC, not 220V AC.
• Do not apply a voltage significantly higher than 12V.
• A 20W load at 12V can require approximately 1.67A, so use a suitable power supply and adequately sized wiring.
• Although no external driver is required according to the product specification, proper thermal management is important during continuous high-power operation.
• The 1200-lumen figure is a claimed specification and actual brightness can vary with supply voltage, temperature, and LED batch.
• Do not operate the LED plate without adequate heat dissipation if it becomes excessively hot.
• Keep the LED surface and PCB protected from water unless installed inside a properly rated waterproof enclosure.
