35mm Piezoelectric Sensor / Transducer / Buzzer
VAT inclusive; Computed calculations added locally.
Overview
The 35mm Piezoelectric Sensor is a highly responsive passive piezoelectric element designed to detect mechanical vibration, impact, pressure, and sound. When mechanical stress is applied to the ceramic element, it generates an electrical voltage that can be processed by an ADC, comparator, amplifier, or other signal-conditioning circuit.
Its 35mm copper and ceramic disc construction provides a convenient form factor for mounting onto surfaces, acoustic instruments, panels, and DIY electronic projects. The sensor can be used to capture vibrations from guitars, violins, drums, and other acoustic instruments or detect knocks and physical impacts.
The piezo element can also be used as a transducer or buzzer when driven with an appropriate electrical signal. Its simple passive construction makes it useful for educational experiments and custom electronic designs where a basic vibration or acoustic sensing element is required.
Wiring is not included, so users need to solder their own wires to the element. As with other raw piezoelectric discs, suitable protection and signal conditioning should be considered before connecting the sensor directly to sensitive microcontroller inputs.

Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The 35mm Piezoelectric Sensor / Transducer / Buzzer is a passive piezoelectric disc that converts mechanical movement into an electrical voltage. It is particularly useful when a project needs to detect knocks, impacts, vibration, or acoustic resonance.
The copper and ceramic construction provides a simple and lightweight sensing element that can be attached to a suitable surface or acoustic instrument. The analog output can then be processed using an ADC, comparator, amplifier, or microcontroller-based circuit.

Important Notes
- Wiring is not included; wires must be soldered separately.
- This is a raw piezoelectric element, not a complete sensor module.
- Mechanical impacts can produce voltage spikes, so use suitable protection when connecting it to Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or other sensitive inputs.
- Avoid excessive bending, crushing, or flexing of the ceramic disc.
- Handle the element carefully during soldering and installation.
- Use controlled soldering heat and avoid prolonged heating of the ceramic layer.
- The sensor's output depends on the amount and type of mechanical stress applied.
- The specified resonant frequency is approximately 1.8 ±0.3kHz.
- Please allow approximately 5% measurement deviation due to manual measurement.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product.
