Foxeer 5.8G Reaper Infinity 5W 40CH VTx Video Transmitter

The Foxeer 5.8G Reaper Infinity 5W 40CH VTx is a high-output analog video transmitter developed for FPV drone systems that require configurable video transmission power and broad channel selection. It offers five selectable output levels, ranging from 50mW to 5000mW, allowing pilots to choose an appropriate power setting for their particular setup and operating environment.

The transmitter supports 40 channels distributed across five bands: A, B, E, F, and RaceBand. Its 9–36V DC input range allows integration with compatible drone power systems, while the SMA antenna connector provides a connection for a suitable 5.8GHz antenna.

With Tramp telemetry support, users can configure channel and power settings through a compatible flight controller. The built-in LED indicators and physical control button also provide a convenient way to manage settings directly on the transmitter.

How to Use

1. Check compatibility: Confirm that your drone power system supplies a regulated or suitable 9–36V DC input.

2. Install the transmitter: Mount the VTx using its 20 × 20mm M2 mounting pattern, ensuring adequate airflow.

3. Connect the antenna: Attach a compatible 5.8GHz antenna to the SMA connector before powering on the transmitter.

4. Connect the video system: Connect the camera video signal and compatible power connections according to the wiring diagram.

5. Configure the channel: Select the desired frequency band and channel using the onboard button or a compatible flight controller with Tramp support.

6. Select output power: Choose an appropriate power level for your setup and local regulations.

7. Test the video link: Verify the selected frequency and video reception using a compatible FPV receiver.

Important Notes

• Always connect a suitable antenna before powering on the VTx. Operating a high-power transmitter without an antenna can damage the RF output stage.

• The transmitter can become extremely hot during operation, especially at higher output power. Provide adequate airflow and avoid mounting it in a sealed enclosure.

• Do not touch the transmitter immediately after high-power operation because its surface may become very hot.

• The 5W output level is not automatically legal for use in every country. Check local radio-frequency regulations before operating it. In Bangladesh, verify the applicable authorization and permitted frequency and transmission-power limits.

• The listed 9V/3A and 36V/0.8A figures represent manufacturer-stated input consumption, not RF output power.

• If the Tramp control cable is connected to a compatible flight controller, the onboard button may not control frequency and power settings.

• Ensure that the VTx frequency matches your FPV receiver.

• Avoid operating multiple transmitters on the same or nearby frequencies without proper coordination.
