Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The Holybro Micro M10 GPS Module is a compact satellite navigation solution developed for FPV drones, UAV platforms, and autonomous flight-control systems. Powered by the u-blox M10 receiver, it combines multi-constellation GNSS reception with a high-gain ceramic antenna and an integrated digital compass.
The module supports simultaneous reception from multiple satellite systems, helping compatible flight controllers obtain positioning data for navigation, return-to-home functions, and autonomous missions. Its small footprint and JST-GH 6-pin connector make it suitable for installations where size, weight, and straightforward wiring are important.
Features
10th-Generation u-blox M10 Receiver: Provides GNSS positioning for compatible drone and UAV systems.
Multi-Constellation Support: Receives GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou concurrently, with support for QZSS and satellite-based augmentation systems.
Integrated Digital Compass: Available with an IST8310 or IST8308 compass, depending on the selected version.
High-Gain Ceramic Antenna: Uses a 25 × 25 × 4mm patch antenna for satellite signal reception.
Fast Navigation Updates: Supports up to 25Hz with a single GNSS system or 10Hz with four concurrent systems.
UBX and NMEA Protocols: Provides common GNSS communication options for supported flight controllers.

UAV development and robotics projects
How to Use
Check flight-controller compatibility: Verify that your controller and firmware support the Holybro Micro M10 GPS and the selected compass version.
Mount the module: Position the antenna facing upward with a clear view of the sky. Keep it away from motors, ESCs, high-current wiring, and other interference sources.
Connect the cable: Connect the JST-GH 6-pin cable to the compatible GPS port. Check the pinout and connector orientation before powering the system.
Provide the correct voltage: Ensure the controller's GPS port supplies the specified 4.7–5.2V DC.
Configure the GPS: Set the appropriate serial port and GPS protocol in your flight-controller firmware. The published default baud rate is 115200 bps.
Configure the compass: Enable the detected compass, set its orientation correctly, and perform calibration according to your flight-controller documentation.
Test outdoors: Confirm satellite acquisition, valid position data, and correct compass readings before attempting flight.
Important Notes
The Micro M10 is a GNSS module with an integrated compass; it is not a standalone GPS receiver without heading sensing.
Check whether your chosen version uses the IST8310 or IST8308 compass. Firmware requirements may differ, especially for IST8308.
Holybro specifies support for PX4 1.14, ArduPilot 4.3, INAV 5.0.0, and Betaflight 4.3.0 or later for the M10 GPS. Confirm compatibility with your exact controller and firmware release.
The maximum update rate depends on the number of concurrently used satellite systems and the receiver configuration.
Actual positioning performance depends on satellite visibility, installation, and radio-frequency interference.
Choose the with-case or without-case version according to your mounting and protection requirements.
Confirm the exact package contents before ordering, as accessories may vary by seller.
