ISDT XT60 1-8S 40A Safe Parallel Charging Board

The ISDT XT60 1–8S 40A Safe Parallel Charging Board PC-4860S is designed to simplify the charging process for users who regularly manage multiple RC and FPV batteries. Instead of connecting each battery individually to a charger, this board allows up to four compatible battery packs to be connected in parallel through its four output channels.

When batteries with the same cell count are connected in parallel, they remain at the same nominal voltage while their capacities combine. This allows a compatible balance charger to charge the connected batteries as one larger-capacity battery group. The board supports 1S–8S battery configurations and offers a maximum input current of 40A.

For added safety, the PC-4860S incorporates 32 individual fuses and a CNC-machined aluminum enclosure. Its compact design and XT60 connection make it a practical charging accessory for drone builders, FPV pilots, and RC battery users.

How to Use

1. Check battery compatibility: Ensure all batteries have the same cell count and compatible chemistry and charging requirements.

2. Inspect the batteries: Check for swelling, physical damage, damaged wires, or abnormal voltage before connecting.

3. Connect the board to the charger: Use the XT60 power cable and compatible balance connection to connect the board to a suitable balance charger.

4. Connect the batteries: Attach compatible battery packs to the four XT60 output channels and corresponding balance ports.

5. Verify battery voltage: Check that the connected packs have closely matched voltages before starting parallel charging.

6. Configure the charger: Select the correct battery chemistry and cell count, and set the charging current according to the combined battery capacity and safe charging limits.

7. Monitor charging: Keep the charging setup in a suitable fire-resistant area and supervise the entire charging process.

Important Notes

• This is a parallel charging board, not a battery charger. A compatible balance charger and suitable power supply are required.

• All connected batteries must have the same cell count and compatible battery chemistry.

• Ensure battery voltages are closely matched before connecting them. Large voltage differences can cause dangerous equalization currents.

• Do not connect damaged, swollen, or unusually hot batteries.

• Never exceed the board's 40A maximum input current, 30A per-port output rating, or 2A maximum balance current.

• Set the charger to the correct battery chemistry and cell count before charging.

• Parallel charging increases the total connected battery capacity, but the charging voltage remains appropriate for the common cell count.

• Never leave batteries unattended during charging.
