Roller Lever Endstop Limit Switch Module – 3.3V/5V Mechanical Endstop Sensor with 80cm Cable
VAT inclusive; Computed calculations added locally.
Overview
The Roller Lever Endstop Module provides a convenient way to detect the end of mechanical travel or the position of a moving component. Its roller lever contacts the moving surface smoothly, making it particularly useful for homing and limit detection on 3D printers, CNC machines, linear mechanisms, and robotic systems.
The module operates from 3.3V to 5V DC and provides a digital output that is normally HIGH and changes to LOW when the lever is activated. An onboard red LED provides visual indication when the switch is triggered, making setup and troubleshooting easier.
An 80cm 24AWG cable is included, with a 4-pin JST-style connection at the module and a 3-pin Dupont-style connector for controller-side connection. The compact 40 × 16mm PCB includes mounting holes for convenient installation.

Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The Roller Lever Endstop Limit Switch Module combines a mechanical roller lever microswitch with a simple digital interface circuit. When the roller lever is pressed, the switch pulls the signal line LOW and activates the onboard red LED. When the switch is released, the signal is normally held HIGH through the onboard pull-up resistor.
This makes the module well suited to applications where a controller needs to know when a moving mechanism reaches a physical boundary. Typical uses include axis homing on 3D printers, CNC travel-limit detection, robotic position sensing, and general mechanical trigger detection.

How to Use
The cable uses the following connections:
| Wire | Function |
|---|---|
| Red | VCC – 3.3V or 5V |
| Black | GND |
| Green | Signal Output |
| NC | Not connected; grounded on the module side |
The signal output is normally pulled HIGH. When the roller lever is pressed, the signal is connected to ground and changes to LOW.
For a microcontroller:
- Connect Red to the appropriate 3.3V or 5V supply.
- Connect Black to controller GND.
- Connect Green to a digital input.
- Configure the input according to the module's active-LOW behavior.
- Press the roller lever and verify that the controller detects the LOW state.
- Use software debounce where necessary because mechanical switches can produce contact bounce.
Important Notes
- The module is designed primarily as a logic-level sensing interface.
- The signal is active LOW when the roller lever is triggered.
- Do not assume the module itself can safely switch a high-current load merely because it contains a mechanical microswitch.
- The supplied module circuit includes an LED and current-limiting resistor; the module supply should be kept within the specified low-voltage range. The source documentation recommends limiting voltage through the module to around 12V or below, but 3.3–5V is the specified operating range for normal controller use.
- Mechanical switches can bounce; software debouncing may be useful for precise counting or homing applications.
- Mount the module securely so the roller lever is contacted reliably without excessive mechanical force.
- Allow approximately 5% measurement deviation because of manual measurement.
- Product appearance and connector/component details may vary slightly depending on stock.
