Walksnail Avatar HD Kit V2 – 8GB – No Gyro

The Walksnail Avatar HD Kit V2 – 8GB – No Gyro is a digital FPV camera and video transmitter system designed to deliver high-definition video transmission for compatible FPV drones. It combines the Avatar V2 camera with an 8GB Avatar V2 VTX, allowing pilots to experience digital FPV video with onboard recording capabilities.

The camera features a 1/3.2-inch 4MP sensor with native 4:3 aspect ratio, a 2.1mm lens, and a wide 160° field of view. The VTX operates in the 5.725–5.850GHz frequency range and supports an average video latency of approximately 22ms. Its 6V–25.2V power input range makes it suitable for a variety of FPV drone power configurations.

This is the 8GB No Gyro version. It does not include gyro hardware for Gyroflow stabilization, so it is important to distinguish it from the 32GB gyro-supported version.

How to Use

1. Mount the Avatar V2 camera securely in the drone frame.

2. Install the VTX using a compatible 20 × 20mm or 25.5 × 25.5mm mounting pattern.

3. Connect the camera to the VTX using the supplied camera cable.

4. Connect the VTX power and required flight controller connections according to the wiring instructions.

5. Attach the included antenna before powering on the transmitter.

6. Connect and configure the system with a compatible Walksnail Avatar receiver or FPV goggles.

7. Check video transmission, OSD, and recording functions before flight.

Important Notes

• This is the 8GB version without gyro; Gyroflow stabilization is not supported.

• The kit requires a compatible Walksnail Avatar receiver or FPV goggles, which are not included.

• Ensure the VTX receives a stable power supply within the specified 6V–25.2V range.

• Always connect the antenna before powering on the VTX to help prevent transmitter damage.

• Confirm flight controller compatibility, wiring, mounting clearance, and antenna connection before use.
