The CubePilot The Cube Orange+ Standard Set is an advanced autopilot system developed for autonomous unmanned vehicles and professional UAV applications. The set combines the Cube Orange+ flight management module with an ADS-B carrier board, providing a comprehensive flight-control platform with integrated aircraft traffic awareness.

At its core, the Cube Orange+ uses the STM32H757 dual-core H7 processor, featuring 2MB of flash memory and 1MB of RAM. Its processing architecture supports demanding flight-control operations, navigation tasks, and autonomous mission management.

The flight controller incorporates a triple-redundant IMU system with three accelerometers and three gyroscopes, along with two barometers and a magnetometer. Mechanical vibration isolation and onboard temperature regulation help maintain consistent sensor performance during operation.

The included ADS-B carrier board integrates a 1090MHz uAvionix ADS-B IN receiver. It can provide compatible autopilot software with information about nearby aircraft, supporting traffic awareness and configured avoidance workflows.

With 14 PWM outputs, multiple serial connections, GPS interfaces, I2C, and CAN connectivity, the Cube Orange+ can be integrated into a wide range of UAV configurations. Its compatibility with ArduPilot and PX4 makes it suitable for research, industrial UAV development, autonomous navigation, and advanced robotics.

How to Use

1. Carefully mount the Cube Orange+ assembly onto a suitable vibration-isolated mounting platform.

2. Connect the included Power Brick Mini to the designated power input using the appropriate cable.

3. Connect a compatible GPS module to the GPS interface.

4. Connect the required telemetry, RC receiver, and peripheral devices using the supplied cables.

5. Connect servos or ESC signal wires to the appropriate PWM output channels.

6. Connect the flight controller to a computer through USB for initial configuration.

7. Install compatible ArduPilot or PX4 firmware and select the appropriate vehicle configuration.

8. Perform the required accelerometer, compass, radio, and other sensor calibrations.

9. Configure power monitoring, flight modes, failsafe settings, and navigation parameters.

10. Verify all connections and test the system without propellers before conducting any flight operation.

Important Notes

• The ADS-B receiver is designed to receive compatible 1090MHz ADS-B aircraft information. It is not an ADS-B transmitter and does not replace an aircraft's required collision-avoidance equipment.

• ADS-B traffic awareness and avoidance functions depend on compatible firmware, configuration, and supported mission-planning features. They do not guarantee automatic collision avoidance.

• This Standard Set includes the ADS-B carrier board. Do not confuse it with Cube Orange+ versions supplied with different carrier boards.

• The flight controller is not waterproof. Provide suitable environmental protection when installing it in exposed UAV applications.

• Use a stable power supply within the specified 4.1V–5.7V input range.

• Verify connector pinouts and peripheral voltage requirements before connecting external equipment.

• Use suitable vibration isolation and secure mounting to help maintain reliable sensor measurements.

• Configure redundant power connections according to the manufacturer's documentation.

• GPS modules, telemetry radios, RC transmitters, receivers, ESCs, motors, and batteries are not included unless specified separately.

• Always perform calibration, failsafe testing, and ground checks before operating an aircraft.
