Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The FLYWOO GOKU GM10 Nano V3 GPS Module is a compact multi-constellation navigation solution developed for FPV drones and other lightweight UAV applications. It uses the M10050 GNSS chipset to receive satellite signals from multiple navigation systems, helping compatible flight controllers determine the aircraft's geographical position and movement.
The module supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and SBAS, with 72 search channels and a default 10Hz output rate. Its small footprint and approximately 2.2g weight make it particularly useful for compact drone frames where installation space and overall weight are limited.
The GM10 Nano V3 communicates with a flight controller through four solder pads: RX, TX, power and ground. It supports UBLOX protocol with Betaflight 4.3.x and NMEA protocol with Betaflight 4.2.x and earlier versions.
Features
M10050 GNSS Chipset: Provides multi-constellation satellite positioning.
Multi-System Satellite Support: Compatible with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and SBAS.
72 Search Channels: Supports parallel satellite signal searching.
Sensitive Signal Tracking: Offers -162dBm tracking and -160dBm reacquisition sensitivity.
10Hz Default Update Rate: Provides frequent positioning data for supported flight controllers.
Ultra-Lightweight Construction: Weighs approximately 2.2g, making it suitable for compact FPV builds.
Small Installation Footprint: Measures only 12 × 16 × 4.5mm.
Flexible Communication: Supports UBLOX and NMEA protocols depending on firmware compatibility.
PPS Indicator: Yellow LED provides a visual indication of GPS fix status.
Applications
FPV racing and freestyle drones
Long-range FPV drone builds
Compact quadcopters and micro UAVs
GPS Rescue-enabled Betaflight builds
INAV-based navigation projects
Custom UAV positioning systems
How to Use
Select a suitable mounting location on the drone frame with a clear view of the sky.
Connect the GPS module's 3.3–5V and GND pads to the compatible flight controller power and ground pads.
Connect the GPS TX pad to a flight controller UART RX pad.
Connect the GPS RX pad to the corresponding flight controller UART TX pad.
Enable the GPS function on the selected UART and configure the appropriate protocol in the flight-controller firmware.
Configure the GPS settings and verify that satellite information is being received.
Allow the module sufficient time outdoors to acquire satellite signals before flight.
Important Notes
This is the non-compass version of the GM10 Nano V3. It does not provide a built-in magnetometer.
The four-pin solder-pad version requires wiring or soldering to a compatible flight controller.
Betaflight 4.3.x supports the UBLOX protocol, while Betaflight 4.2.x and earlier versions use NMEA according to the product documentation.
For INAV, the manufacturer recommends INAV firmware above 5.0.0 and Configurator 6.0.0 or later.
Supply voltage must remain within the specified 3.3–5V range.
GPS performance depends on satellite visibility, antenna placement, interference and environmental conditions.
The module is not a standalone navigation controller; it requires a compatible flight controller and suitable firmware.
