TDS Meter V1.0 Module Water Quality Sensor for Arduino
VAT inclusive; Computed calculations added locally.
Overview
The TDS Meter V1.0 Module provides an easy way to integrate water-quality monitoring into Arduino and other 3.3V/5V microcontroller projects. Unlike a standalone TDS pen, this module provides an analog signal that can be read and processed by a control system for DIY monitoring and data-logging applications. Featured by KathalTech.
We've tested this module. This module operates from 3.3–5.5V DC and produces a 0–2.3V analog output, making it suitable for common 3.3V and 5V development boards. Its compact design uses an XH2.54 connector system for straightforward connection without requiring soldering.
For measurement stability, the sensor uses an AC excitation signal, which helps reduce probe polarization and supports more stable operation. The included waterproof probe can be immersed in water for extended monitoring when used according to the sensor's operating requirements.
With a stated measurement range of 0–1000ppm and accuracy of ±10% F.S. at 25°C, the module is suitable for DIY water-quality projects involving domestic water, hydroponics, aquaculture-related monitoring, and educational experiments.

Product Technical Information
Technical Details
The TDS Meter V1.0 Module Water Quality Sensor for Arduino is designed to measure the approximate Total Dissolved Solids level of water and provide an analog signal that can be processed by a microcontroller.
The module features a wide 3.3–5.5V DC operating range and a 0–2.3V analog output, allowing it to work with many Arduino-compatible and other 3.3V/5V control systems.
The included 60cm waterproof probe uses two sensing needles and connects to the module through an XH2.54-2P interface. The AC excitation method helps reduce electrode polarization compared with DC excitation, supporting stable sensor operation.

How It Works / How to Use
- Connect the TDS probe to the module using the XH2.54-2P connector.
- Connect the module's power and analog output to a compatible Arduino or microcontroller.
- Supply the module with 3.3–5.5V DC.
- Read the analog output using the controller's analog input.
- Use appropriate TDS conversion/calibration software to calculate the TDS value.
- For improved measurement consistency, follow the sensor's recommended calibration procedure and account for water temperature where applicable.
Important Notes
- The stated measurement range is 0–1000ppm.
- Accuracy is specified as ±10% F.S. at 25°C.
- TDS measurement is affected by water temperature, calibration, probe condition, and the characteristics of the water being measured.
- This is an electronics development sensor and should not be treated as a laboratory-grade water-quality instrument.
- Keep the electronic module itself away from water; only the intended waterproof probe should be immersed.
- Clean and maintain the probe as needed for consistent readings.
- Do not exceed the specified 3.3–5.5V DC supply range.
- Product dimensions and weight may have minor variations due to manual measurement and manufacturing batches.
- Product images are for illustration purposes and the actual product may vary slightly.
